FIREFIGHTERS from Warrington used a hose reel jet to extinguish a garden blaze last night.
The fire, on open land in a garden off Hawleys Lane, had got out of control and was beginning to spread when the crew arrived on the scene shortly after 8.30pm.
Swift action result in the blaze being put out before serious damage was caused.
