Teenager charged after three men arrested following fight outside pub

UPDATED: An 18-year-old male has been charged after three men were arrested on suspicion of affray following a fight outside a Warrington pub during the early hours of Saturday morning.

At 12.30 am on Saturday 3 September police attended Orford Lane in Warrington following reports of an altercation involving a number of people outside The Wolves pub. Officers attended and three men were arrested on suspicion of affray.

A 22-year-old man from Merseyside and a 27-year-old man from Stoke-on-Trent have since been released on conditional bail.

The third man, an 18-year-old, has been charged with threatening and abusive behaviour.
Shane Stokes, of Newby Drive, Roby in Merseyside has been bailed and is due to appear at Warrington Magistrates Court on Wednesday 21 September.

      We can only provide the information as supplied by the police via their social media channels.
      We will be following up for more detail once the police press office is open tomorrow.
      I can assure you we find the lack of information just as frustrating as you – but feel it is important to get the news out there as quickly as possible – because obviously anyone who saw the incident will know exactly where it was.
