Building evacuated as fire crews tackle kitchen blaze

A BUILDING was evacuated in Barbauld Street, Warrington last night after fire broke out in the kitchen.
The blaze was shortly after 8.30pm and firefighters from Warrington and Penketh went to the scene.
Fat from a grill caused the fire in the commercial building and firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a dry powder extinguisher to put it out.
There were no reports of casualties.
