Stop check reveals drink driver had taken car without consent

A stop check by Cheshire specials on a speeding car revealed a drink driver who had taken a car without the owner’s consent.

The vehicle was stopped on Winwick Rd during the early hours of Saturday morning by the Cheshire Police Special Constabulary team for speeding.

Relevant checks revealed that the driver had:
– No Insurance 🚫
– No Licence 🚫
– Driven over the prescribed alcohol limit 🚫
– Taken the car without the owner’s consent 🚫

The driver was arrested for the above offences and will be put before the courts!

This weekend, S/Sgt Murphy, S/Sgt Booth & SC Noon stopped a car in @PoliceWarr for speeding. After further checks, they arrested the driver for: No Insurance, no Licence, drink driving and taking the car without the owner consent.
