Woman arrested for biting, kicking and hitting three police officers

A drunken woman was arrested for assaulting three police officers during a disturbance at Bewsey last night.

The Officers were attending reports of a disturbance in Bewsey caused by a female who was clearly under the influence. The female refused to leave and then proceeded to bite, kick and hit officers. She was arrested and taken into custody for three assaults on police officers.

During another incident, a male who allegedly assaulted his partner in the Town Centre was quickly arrested for a section 39 assault.
Police were also kept busy searching for missing people and wanted offenders.
