Police arrest two drug drivers

POLICE have arrested two drug drivers in the Warrington area today.

A 23-year-old male was arrested on Hallfields Road, Orford, this morning after a stop check. the male was arrested for numerous offences including drug driving and possession of Class A and Class B drugs.

Meanwhile, a 34-year-old male was arrested on the A56. He failed a drugs wipe and tested positive for driving under the influence of cannabis.

In another incident today, a 29-year-old female was arrested in the town centre this morning for assaulting another female.
