POLICE have secured a closure order on a property at Latchford, Warrington, following ongoing issues concerning anti-social behaviour.

PC Pitt from Warrington Central Beat team secured the closure order on the First floor flat in the Latchford area yesterday, Friday.

PC Pitt applied for the closure to the courts, due to the occupants committing and attracting anti-social behaviour, crime and disorder throughout the night and day, which was having a detrimental impact on the residents in the community.

Cheshire Police and Torus housing (Torus Warrington) have worked in partnership to obtain the closure order, evidencing residents’ concerns in order to tackle the issues.
A Full Closure Order was granted for a period of three months under Section 80 of the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.
