Vandals blamed for fire in woodland at Lymm

VANDALS are being blamed for a fire in woodland at Lymm last night.
The blaze was off Pepper Street and firefighters from Lymm were called to the scene shortly before 9pm.
A hosereel jet was used to extinguish the flames. It was strongly suspected that the fire had been started deliberately. Anyone with information is asked to inform police on 101.
Around the same time, a fire crew from Warrington was called out to deal with a bin fire: in Cartmel Avenue, Longford, Warrington
A water backpack was used to put out the fire.
