Police seek witnesses following Orford stabbing incident

POLICE are seeking witnesses following a stabbing incident in the Orford area, last night, Sunday, which resulted in two local men being arrested.

The incident took place in the Grasmere Avenue area at around 10.30 pm on Sunday night, when a 32-year-old local man is understood to have received a stabbing-related injury, which is not believed to be life-threatening.

Two men, aged 44 and 32, have been arrested in connection with the incident and are assisting police with their investigation.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: “Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and anyone with any information or video footage is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101, or at www.cheshire.police/tell-us, quoting IML 1319925.
“Information can also be reported anonymously, via Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.”
