FIVE more COVID-19-related deaths have sadly been reported at Warrington Hospital over the weekend, with the number of patients in intensive care also rising.
While inpatient numbers have fallen from 84-78, the number in intensive care has risen from 0-4, while a further 33 patients have been discharged since last Wednesday.

Current inpatients as of Monday, July 18, 2022, compared to Wednesday, July 13 (confirmed positive result – 14 days or less from first positive sample) – 78 (84) including 4 (0) in ICU.

There have been 748 (574) COVID-19 cases reported in Warrington over the past seven days taking the total to 80,472 – 75,213 1st infections, 5,259 second (79,767) and an infection rate of 357.2 (274.1) per 100,000 which has risen again compared to a rate of 309.4 (246.3) for England.
