Firefighters called out to freezer fire

FIREFIGHTERS were called out to reports of a freezer fire at a property in Orford, Warrington, last night.

At 20:44 one crew from Warrington attended reports of a house fire on Orford Road.

On arrival, the crew found a freezer with the property had smoke issuing from its motor.
Firefighters isolated the freezer unit and installed a smoke alarm at the property prior to departure.
