All set for Winwick Carnival

AFTER an absence of three years due to the pandemic Winwick Carnival returns this Saturday, July 16, taking place from 12 noon until 5 pm in the village.

One of the organisers of Winwick Carnival, Sam Armstrong said: “I think, for the first time in years, we’re almost guaranteed wall-to-wall sunshine which always adds to the already great atmosphere.

“For your entertainment this year we have the amazing Andrew Van Buren and his fantastic Victorian Theatre Of Wonders, Steve Kaos a brilliant circus entertainer, the ever-fascinating Vale Royal Birds Of Prey plus the wonderful boys & girls from Legends Dance Academy …. and that’s just in the main arena!!!
“We also have Brian Gore’s Punch & Judy for the smaller children, side stalls, craft & charity stalls, wood carving and the thrilling fun rides of Silcock’s Funfair plus much much more!!
“Come on down for fun for all the family.”
