Two men arrested at Great Sankey for alleged vehicle interference after police foot chase

TWO men were arrested at Great Sankey, Warrington, last night, on suspicion of vehicle interference after a foot chase with police.

It followed a report of some persons acting suspiciously. When police arrived at the scene to two suspects decided to run off.
However, after a short foot chase, they quickly realised police weren’t giving up easily and both were arrested and taken into custody.

Police also responded to an incident in the Old Hall area. After a significant response to locate a male who was wanted, he was successfully located, detained and arrested for a string of offences and recall to prison.
Meanwhile, in Stockton Heath, a male was arrested on suspicion of common assault. During the arrest, he became increasingly abusive and was arrested and taken into custody.
