INTREPID explorers are once again invited to take part in the Glazebury Garden Safari; which returns next Sunday to the village after a few years’ break.

This year’s Safari takes place on Sunday 17th July and includes five beautiful gardens which will be opened to the public for this special charity event.

Local nurseryman, John Bent from Bents Garden & Home has once again helped organize the event which will raise money for three local causes; Glazebury Primary School, All Saints and Glazebury Methodist Church.

Those wishing to take part in the Safari can purchase tickets (£10) from Bents Garden & Home, located just next door to Weeping Ash Garden, one of the gardens on the safari.  The ticket will admit two people (children are free) who can tour the gardens at their leisure between 11am and 4pm.

Gardens include:

  1. Weeping Ash Garden
  2. Moss View
  3. No 1 Light Oaks Lane
  4. Glazebury CofE School
  5. All Saints Church Garden, Glazebury
