Knife, drugs and cash seized following road rage incident

A man has been arrested following a road rage incident in Warrington earlier today after he threatened people with a knife and then failed to stop for officers.

The male was arrested by officers from the Roads Crime Unit, assisted by members of the public for failing to stop, dangerous driving and drug driving. He also assaulted two officers.

This was following a road rage incident where he threatened people with a knife.
A knife, drugs and cash were all seized and he will now be dealt with for all offences overnight.

Police have thanked all members of the public who assisted.
