ANOTHER traveller encampment has been reported in the Warrington area, on private land at Olympic Park, Birchwood.
The latest status of traveller encampments says the encampment of six caravans arrived at Olympic Park on Saturday.
This follows on from an encampment of seven caravans that arrived at Peel Hall Park, Fearnhead last week, which has been given temporary permission to stay on site by Warrington Borough council.
The latest encampment is on private land and council officers have been instructed to contact the landowner to offer advice.
Three caravans have also been reported on private land at Centre Park Square, Bewsey.
