PLANS for a rear extension with a roof-top balcony at a house in leafy Firs Lane, Appleton, have been submitted to Warrington Borough Council.
The scheme involves Seven Hills, a five-bedroomed detached house built in 2014 which stands in its own grounds and cannot be seen from the road nor from neighboring properties.
Access to the site is via a private, gated driveway.
The application, currently being considered by Warrington Borough Council planning chiefs, states that the extension would represent a 4.9 per cent increase in the size of the existing house and will not result in any significant impact on the visual amenity or openness of the Green Belt.
