Toaster causes kitchen fire

TWO fire crews were called out earlier today (Tuesday) to tackle a kitchen fire started by a toaster.

Crews from Warrington and Birchwood attended the incident on Hume Street, Warrington, at 12:30 pm.

Firefighters were called to a fire in a kitchen and found it involved a toaster. The crew used a large fan to clear smoke at the incident.

There were no reports of any injuries.
