Police officer assaulted as drunken mother and daughter arrested during racially aggravated incident

A drunken mother and daughter were arrested in Warrington last night during a racially aggravated public order incident.

The pair were arrested and taken into custody for assault on police, racially aggravated public order and Drunk and Disorderly.

In another incident, a 20-year-old drunken male was arrested in the town centre for assault on an emergency worker.

Meanwhile, a 24-year-old old female was arrested at the Neighbourhood weekender for being drunk and disorderly, assaulting staff at the event and for possession of drugs.
