PLANS for a single-story rear extension and a garage conversion to create additional living space were approved by planning chiefs at Warrington.
Warrington Borough Council’s development management committee approved the alterations to a detached house in Colorado Close , Great Sankey after hearing there had been no objections from neighbours.
Officers told the committee the principle of an extension on the site was in keeping with the overall residential character of the area and there would be no unacceptable impacts on the local character nor on visual amenity.
The living conditions of adjacent occupiers were protected from undue harm and there were no issues of highway safety or increase in on-street parking.
The development would provide an additional bedroom at ground floor level. The garage door would be replaced by a single window.
