Man due in court accused of assault on emergency worker and threatening behaviour

A 41-year-old Latchford man is due in court after being charged with assaulting an emergency worker and using threatening behaviour following a disturbance on Saturday evening.

At around 7.30pm on Saturday 23 April police were called to reports of a disturbance at an address on Broadbent Avenue, Latchford.

Officers attended the scene and arrested a man in connection with the incident.

Craig Anthony Woodall, of Broadbent Avenue, Latchford, has since been charged with assault of an emergency services worker, common assault of an emergency services worker and use of threatening and abusive language.

The 41-year-old, has been released on bail and is set to appear at Warrington Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 11 May.
