SITTING on top of the Northern Premier League West table going into the Easter programme, by the time Warrington Rylands next kick a ball in anger the picture at the top may be very different.

Not playing on Saturday, Rylands will have to look on as their main rivals go head to head as Workington visit Marine and Leek Town host Runcorn, with all four clubs having their reasons as to why three points would be so welcome.

One point behind Rylands, 2nd placed Workington travel to 3rd placed Marine looking for the victory which will send them to the top, a draw would bring them level with Rylands retaining top spot courtesy of a better goal difference.

However, it won’t be easy going for the Cumbrians as Marine need the three points to keep their outside title hopes alive, but at the very least their chances of a home game in the play offs.

4th place Leek Town, who themselves can still claim the title if the three above them do a Devon Loch over the next ten days and they win their remaining games, host 5th place Runcorn Linnets who will want the points to hold onto the last promotion play off spot.

Warrington Rylands next take to the field on Easter Monday when they visit 1874 Northwich, but will they still be top of the table?
