FIREFIGHTERS were called out last night after vandals targeted play equipment on Bank Park off Crosfield Street, Warrington.
Shortly after 8:20 pm last night one fire engine from Warrington was called out to a small fire involving play equipment at the park. They used a hose reel to put the fire out.
In another incident, shortly before 8 pm one crew from Birchwood was called to Withington Avenue, Culcheth, following reports of a fire in the open.
Firefighters used a hose reel at the scene to extinguish the fire.
