A Padgate road will close for up to two weeks later this month to allow sewer repair works.

Warrington Borough Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Connaught Avenue from its junction with Grantham Avenue to its junction with Queens Avenue.

The Order will be effective from 19th April 2022 for two weeks, when signed on site.

Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works.

The alternative route will be via Grantham Avenue, Egerton Street, Queens Avenue and vice versa.

The closure is required to allow United Utilities to carry out sewer repair works.
