TRAVELLERS have vacated the Poole Park site at Orford prior to being evicted, leaving behind bags of rubbish on the site.
After ignoring a council notice to quit the site earlier in the week, Warrington Borough Council was seeking a court eviction notice to remove the illegal encampment of six vehicles which arrived on the park last Tuesday.
It had previously been on land at Orford Park.
Its believed the travellers breached security fencing to gain access to the park.
