A NUMBER of town centre roads at Warrington are to be subject to nighttime closures from Monday, March 21 for a month to enable remedial work to be carried out associated with the Centre Park Link scheme.
The prohibition of driving orders will include footway works and carriageway resurfacing.
Roads affected are the A5060 Chester Road, from its junction with the A56 Walton Nw Road to its junction with the A49 Wilderspool Causeway
There will also be a prohibition of right turns to prevent vehicles from turning right from Cheste Road into Gainsborough Road. There will also be footway closures in Chester Road.
At the same time, there will be prohibition of driving orders affected the A5061 Parker Street and the A5061 Wilson Patten Street and Bridgefoot. There will also be a temporary suspension of
Hackney Carriage stands on the south side of Wilson Patten Street.
The work will be carried out in phases to minimise disruption and the major of work will be carried out at night as and when signposted.
Access will be under the control of the contractor and alternative routes will be signposted.
