Road closed following concerns for woman’s safety

DURING a busy night for Warrington Police, a local road was closed following concerns for a woman’s safety.

Officers were called just after 10.40pm on Thursday 3 March following reports of a concern for the safety of a woman in Warrington.

Police attended Kingsway Bridge and spoke with the woman.

She was taken to hospital for further checks.

Road closures were put in place as a precaution. The road has since re-opened.

Meanwhile, police reported a busy night with multiple incidents and multiple arrests.
