Kendal Town v Warrington Rylands – Big game preview

WARRINGTON Rylands are back on their travels on Saturday when they venture north up the M6 to visit Kendal Town for a rearranged NPL West fixture following the postponement of the game scheduled for last month.

Kick off at the ST&B Accountants Stadium Parkside Road Kendal LA9 7BL will be 3pm.

While Rylands were all but ending Trafford’s promotion challenge last Saturday, Kendal Town were losing 3-1 at Clitheroe, their 6th straight league defeat – the longest losing run in the division.

Kendal Town have occupied a berth in the Division’s relegation zone since losing 2-1 to Rylands at Gorsey Lane in September

The two team’s respective league records going into Saturday’s game are:

Kendal Town’s 16 home games, including cup ties, have attracted an average attendance of 173. Their highest attendance of the season is 705 for the Christmas fixture against local rivals Workington, while just 50 spectators attended their home game against Kidsgrove Athletic.
