AFTER last Saturday’s dramatic last gasp win at Widnes, Warrington Rylands 1906 return to Gorsey Lane on Saturday for their first home game of 2022 where they face Mossley AFC in the NPL West.

Like Rylands, Mossley started 2022 with a win winning 2-1 away against Ramsbottom United, their first league win since 26th October, eleven games ago a run which has seen the Lilywhites drop from top of the table to 8th, seven points off the last promotion playoff spot.

Last Saturday’s win came after Andy Keogh had given them a 54th minute lead only for Ramsbottom to level the score before former Warrington Town forward Jack Bannister snatched the winner in the 79th minute.
