COVID-19 infection rates continue to rise as 634 new cases confirmed

ANOTHER 634 new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Warrington in the latest daily data, with infection rates continuing to rise.

The 634 (741) new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed by the UK Health Security Agency in the latest daily data, taking the total number of cases in Warrington since the start of the pandemic to 49,295 (48,661).

Infection rates have risen again to 3930 (3,589) – 1,876.8 (1,714) per 100,000 population over a seven-day period which are above the national average of 1,414.3 (1,335.3) per 100,000., which continue to rise.
