GRAPPENHALL and Thelwall Parish Council has agreed to set up a working party to investigate its own environmental impact.
The group will consist of councillors Mark Browne, Sally Chisholm, Brian Davies, Chris Worsley and residents of the parish.
It will measure the council’s own environmental impact and investigate measures that can be introduced locally to reduce it.
Local organisations such as schools, businesses, Scouts, Guides, etc., to contribute ideas to improve the local area with climate and ecology in mind.
The council had previously agreed to declare a climate emergency and support the Climate and Ecological Emergency Bill before Parliament.
