Fire crews tackle car and wheelie bin fires

FIRE crews were called out overnight to tackle a car and wheelie bin fire in two separate incidents.

At 04:25 this morning one fire engine from Warrington was called to a wheelie bin fire in Poplars Avenue, Warrington.

The crew used a hose reel to put out the fire.

Meanwhile, shortly after 23:15 last night, one fire engine from Birchwood was called to a car on fire on a driveway in Manchester Road, Warrington.

The crew wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to put out the fire.
