Firefighters tackle flooding at Glazebury property

FIREFIGHTERS were called out last night to tackle flooding at a property at Glazebury, Warrington.

Shortly after 9 pm One fire engine attended from Birchwood as firefighters were called to a property on Warrington Road, following reports of flooding.

The crews used a large pump to pump the floodwater away from the property and partially isolated the electrics to parts of the house which was affected by flooding.

Heavy rains caused of number of flooding issues on roads in and around the surrounding areas of Croft and Culcheth and other parts of Warrington, including Stockton heath and Chester Road.
