A discarded cigarette caused a bedroom fire at Penketh, Warrington, earlier today, Wednesday.
At 12;23 firefighters from Chester were dispatched to reports of a house fire on Warrington Road, Penketh, Warrington.
The fire, which was caused by a cigarette, was out on arrival.
However, crews ventilated the property and used a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots around the property.
There were no reports of any injuries.
