FIREFIGHTERS helped evacuate properties at Stockton Heath, Warrington, earlier today, Wednesday, following a gas leak on London Road.
Shortly before 8.30 am three fire engines from Warrington, Birchwood and Lymm were called to reports of a possible gas leak on London Road, Warrington.
Crews attended the scene and it was found that there was a small leak outside an address.
A small number of properties were evacuated and a cordon was put in place as a precautionary measure.
The incident has since been passed to the gas board.
