Firefighters tackle two more deliberate wheelie bin fires at Orford!

FIREFIGHTERS from Warrington were called out twice last night two tackle two more deliberate wheelie bin fires in the Orford area.

Shortly before 8 pm, firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish a fire involving two wheelie bins and a disused sofa on Greenwood Crescent, Warrington.

The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate and anyone with any information is asked to call Cheshire police on 101, or visit www.cheshire.police.uk/tua, quoting IML 1117755.
Then shortly after 8.30 pm firefighters were called out to another fire involving a wheelie bin at Orford Park.
Firefighters used an extended hose reel jet to extinguish a wheelie bin which was well alight.
The crew was detained at the incident for around 15 minutes.
The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate and anyone with any information is asked to call Cheshire police on 101, or visit www.cheshire.police.uk/tua , quoting IML 1117788.
Firefighters from Warrington have now been called out six times in four days to deal with deliberate fires involving bins in and around the Orford area.
