Drink driver who was swerving in the road was almost three times the limit

AFTER stopping a vehicle that was seen swerving in the road police discovered the driver was almost three times the drink driving limit.

Police arrested the 65-year-old male on Battersby Lane for Drink Driving.



His vehicle was seen swerving in the road and he then provided a positive roadside sample of 95 mgs! – the legal limit is 35 mgs.
In another incident, a 35-year-old male was arrested on Old Alder Lane for being Drunk in Charge of a motor vehicle. he provided a positive sample of 65 at the roadside – almost double the limit.
In a third incident, a male was arrested on Cannons Road, Great Sankey, Warrington for the offence of driving whilst under the influence of alcohol.
All three men were arrested and taken into custody and will appear at court at a later date.
