Emergency services attend following concerns for woman’s safety on Bridgefoot

EMERGENCY services attended on Bridgefoot, Warrington, earlier today, following concerns for a woman’s safety.

A road closure was put in place as police and firefighters attended at the scene.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: “Emergency services were called at 12.34pm today (Wednesday 29 September) to Bridgefoot following reports of a concern for the safety of a woman on a bridge.
“On arrival officers and firefighters spoke with the woman and she was taken to hospital.”
The road has since re-opened.
