POLICE have been supporting a local residents association with the #passwideandslow campaign in Penketh today, Sunday.
The campaign aims to raise awareness of how drivers should pass horses safely on the roads.
Police advise is that ff you encounter any horse riders, please be patient, pass safely, slowly and leave a two-metre gap between your car and the horse.
