A property was left heavily smoke-logged following a tumble dryer fire at Penketh, Warrington, earlier today, Wednesday.

Shortly before 10.30 am two fire crews from Penketh and Widnes were called to a heavily smoke-logged kitchen in Woodley Fold.
On arrival crews wearing breathing apparatus found a tumble dryer had been on fire but was out on arrival. They used a large fan to disperse the smoke.
