Discarded smoking materials believed to have started bin fire

DISCARDED smoking materials are believed to have accidentally started a bin fire at Old Hall, Warrington, yesterday, Saturday.

Shortly after 14:20 one fire crew from Warrington One fire engine attended from Warrington was called following reports of a bin well alight on Vermont Close.
On arrival, the crew used water to extinguish the flames.
It is believed that the fire had been started accidentally by discarded smoking materials.
