Collision involving motorcycle and two cars at Orford

UPDATED: EMERGENCY services attended the scene of a road traffic collision involving two cars and a motorcycle at Orford, Warrington on Sunday.

Two fire engines attended, from Warrington and Bollington shortly after 3.25pm after firefighters received a report of a collision involving a car and a motorbike in Longford Street, Orford, Warrington.



On arrival, no one was trapped. Firefighters assisted paramedics in getting the motorbike rider on a stretcher.
They then left the casualty in the care of the paramedics.
Firefighters, who also made sure that the car and the motorbike were safe, were in attendance for around half-an-hour.
The collision involved a motorbike and two cars (blue Mazda and black Corsa).
One man, the rider of the motorbike, was taken to Aintree Hospital for treatment.
There are no details on the injuries sustained but according to police reports they are not believed to be life-threatening.
