The home side won the toss and put Grappers in – and soon gained their rewards.

Sam Guest struck early to remove the home side’s opener for a duck, raising hopes that Bollington might also struggle for runs, but after that the batsmen took control and they coasted to 98-3 in 17.4 overs, despite Arran McCabe’s tidy 2-19.
The result left Grappers at number five in the table and looking increasingly unlikely to mount a promotion challenge.

The visitors were never really in the hunt, although they were given hope in the middle of their innings when Jonathan Fletcher, 94 and Rohan Luthra, 42, were at the wicket.
But after they fell it became a case of hanging on grimly for a draw, which they managed on 208-8.
