MORE than 30 motorists were speeding on Knutsford Road in the space of half an hour – with a top speed of 49mph in a 30mph zone.
The speed enforcement was carried out on Knutsford Road yesterday by Latchford West Police. There were over 30 activations in 30 minutes, with a top speed recorded at 49MPH!!!
Police warn the road is crossed by children going to Victoria Park and the dual carriageway is to ease traffic not to race down!
The previous day speed enforcement took place on another stretch of Knutsford Road where there was one activation of 46mph in the one-way system!
Police have been carrying out regular speed enforcement checks in the area – and will continue to do so.
