A road at Westbrook is set to be closed twice next month (September) while electrical cabling is installed in the area.

Warrington Borough Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on Charon Way from its junction with Europa Boulevard to its junction with Easter Court.

The Order will be effective from 13th September 2021 and will be operative in two phases: Phase 1 from 13th September 2021 for 4 days and Phase 2 from 20th September 2021 for 4 days, with both phases in place between 8pm and 6am, when signed on site.
Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works. The alternative route will be Burtonwood Road, Westbrook way, Westbrook Crescent, Europa Boulevard and vice versa. The closure is required to allow for the installation of a new electric cable
