Firefighters tackle van fire on Chester Road

FIREFIGHTERS were called out during the early hours of this morning to tackle a fire in the back of a Luton Box van on Chester Road, Higher Walton, Warrington.

At around 5.30am firefighters were called to reports of a vehicle fire on Chester Road, Higher Walton.



One crew from Warrington attended the scene and on arrival, they found a fire in the back of a Luton box van.
One firefighter, wearing breathing apparatus, used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
The crew was detained at the scene for around 40 minutes.
