A Penketh Road is set to close for three days next month while Virgin Media carries out works in the area.

Warrington Borough Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on Hall Nook from its junction with Warrington Road to its junction with Woodley Fold.

The Order will be effective from 6th September 2021 for 3 days, when signed on site. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works. The alternative route will be via Inglenook, Elm Road, Oak Road and vice versa. The closure is required to allow Virgin Media to install new ducting within the highway.
