FIREFIGHTERS were called out earlier today, Friday, to deal with a skip fire in Burtonwood, Warrington, which spread to horse manure!
One fire engine from Penketh was called out around 1pm following reports of a skip fire at a farm in Bold Lane, which had spread to horse manure.
The crew used a hose reel and a stack drag to put out the fire.
They then damped down the area to prevent it from being re-ignited.
