Firefighters help rescue man and woman trapped in car following collision

FIREFIGHTERS helped rescue a man and a woman trapped in a car that collided with trees and bushes after leaving the road at Birchwood yesterday evening.

At 6pm firefighters from Birchwood were called to a one vehicle collision in Dewhurst Road, Birchwood, Warrington.



The car had left the road and gone into bushes and trees leaving the two occupants, a man and woman, trapped in the car.
The crew helped them out of the car and assisted them to the roadside. Both were checked over by paramedics.
