FIREFIGHTERS helped rescue a man and a woman trapped in a car that collided with trees and bushes after leaving the road at Birchwood yesterday evening.
At 6pm firefighters from Birchwood were called to a one vehicle collision in Dewhurst Road, Birchwood, Warrington.
The car had left the road and gone into bushes and trees leaving the two occupants, a man and woman, trapped in the car.
The crew helped them out of the car and assisted them to the roadside. Both were checked over by paramedics.
Crews from Birchwood attended an RTC yesterday where a vehicle had veered off the road into a wooded area.
Crews made contact with 2 very lucky occupants who were shaken but uninjured.
