Cromwell Avenue road closure proposed

CROMWELL Avenue at Westbrook is set to close for one week at the end of July for carriageway surfacing.

Warrington Borough Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Cromwell Avenue from its junction with Old Hall Road/Twenty Acre Road to its junction with Shackleton Close.

The Order will be effective from 26th July 2021 for one week between 8pm and 5am, Monday to Friday, when signed on site.
Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works.
The alternative route will be via Twenty Acre Road, Washington Drive, Boston Boulevard, Whittle Avenue and Westbrook Way.
The closure is required for carriageway surfacing.
